FLUSH WITH CASH: The city of Anaheim will now pay you for a household change that’s already supposed to save you money. The city has started paying $75 rebates to residents and businesses installing ultra-low-flush toilets. One catch: You must turn in your old toilet to the city, which will then crush it into street-paving material. . . . City officials say tests show the low-flushers can cut water usage in half. The first two weeks of the rebate offer, the city has already had close to 2,000 applicants.
