U.S., 4 Other Nations Plan Pacific Exercise

WASHINGTON —
Five Pacific nations will take part in a major exercise in the Pacific Ocean June 19 through Aug. 2, the Pentagon announced Tuesday.
Dubbed “Rimpac 92,” the exercise will bring together about 45 ships, 200 aircraft and 20,000 military men and women from Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea and the United States.
