Nine Orange County baseball players have been selected to participate in the Sun Belt Classic beginning June 17 in Norman, Okla.

The six-game series will feature players from Oklahoma, Maryland, Ohio, Florida, Georgia and California. Rich Graves of Riverside Poly will coach the California team.

County players participating include outfielder Cale Carter (Mater Dei), pitcher Tyson DowDell (El Dorado), catcher Tim DeCinces (Corona del Mar), outfielder Luis Estrella (Saddleback), first baseman Kyle Evans (Katella), outfielder Chad Henderson (El Modena), pitcher Matt Palaferri (Newport Harbor), pitcher Jon Ward (Huntington Beach) and pitcher Ethan Wyckoff (Capistrano Valley).
