Caltrans Issues Advisory About Scheduled Freeway Work Areas

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Cerritos: Westbound connector to the northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; landscaping.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

2. Los Angeles: Southbound connector to the eastbound Artesia Freeway (91); 6:30 a.m. to noon Saturday; electrical repair.

3. San Pedro: Southbound No. 1 and 2 lanes at “C” Street and Channel Street; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday; bridge repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

4. South Gate: Southbound No. lane from Firestone Boulevard to the Los Angeles River; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

5. Vernon: Atlantic Boulevard on-ramp to the Southbound Long Beach Freeway (710); 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; landscaping.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

6. East Los Angeles: Eastbound connector to the northbound and southbound Long Beach Freeway (710), plus the Third Street on-ramp; 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; landscaping.

7. Various Cities: Eastbound and Westbound No. 1 lanes from Azusa Avenue to Indiana Avenue; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; sweeping.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

8. Santa Fe Springs: Northbound No. 1 lane from Saragosa Street to Dunlop Crossing Road undercrossing; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; crack seal repair.

9. Santa Fe Springs: Northbound No. 1 lane from Dunlop Crossing Road to Bexley Road; 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; crack seal repair.

10. Whittier: Northbound No. 1 lane from Bexley Road to Whittier Boulevard; 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; crack seal repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

11. East Los Angeles: Southbound No. 1 lane from Ditman Avenue to the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710), plus Triggs Street and Ditman Avenue on-ramp and Olympic Boulevard off-ramp; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.
