WORDS WORTH: You asked for it, you got it: The lyrics to the songs from Nirvana’s big-selling but largely indecipherable “Nevermind” album are finally being published.

Geffen Records says that due to “consumer demand,” the lyrics to all the songs on the album will be included with the group’s next CD and cassette single, which features the song “Lithium,” a live version of the band’s old song “Been a Son” and a new song, “Curmudgeon, “ which was recorded last month.

Thanks to Tori Amos’ piano-ballad interpretation of “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” we already know the real words to that hit, but the rest of them have been harder to catch than “Louie Louie.” So the printed words will make for fun games of matching what Kurt Cobain really sang to what you thought he sang (or what Weird Al sang, for that matter).
