Staying in the Big Apple: Michael Eigner, the general manager of TV station WPIX in New York City who announced he was coming West to head KTLA Channel 5, has decided to stay in his current position. Instead, Greg Nathanson, currently president of Fox’s television group, will become the new general manager of KTLA on July 1. Eigner said he will remain in New York to complete the restructuring of WPIX and because of his family.
