Mall Would Bring Jobs
I was recently involved with the Moorpark Women’s Fortnightly Club in the selection of those Moorpark students who would receive scholarship money from the club. In looking at the applications and the very real need for assistance with education costs, once again I was saddened by the lack of jobs for these worthy young people.
Now we have a promise of a discount mall, the very sort of opportunity that can be of concrete and ongoing benefit for those young people. In such a mall, there will be numerous opportunities for staggered working hours and summer jobs (since tourists come through during the summer).
Anyone really interested in the future of our young people will welcome this addition to the city.
