Alhambra : City to Buy Masonic Temple

The City Council unanimously approved a purchase price of $2.5 million to buy the Alhambra Masonic Temple at 211 S. 1st St.
The property will be the site of a new police facility.
The Alhambra Redevelopment Authority previously acquired adjacent property, including 217 and 219 S. 1st St. and 101 W. Commonwealth Ave., for the new complex.
