Rating the News: The new 6:30 p.m. newscast on KCAL Channel 9, anchored by Jerry Dunphy and Pat Harvey, has posted mixed ratings during its first two weeks, beating all three network newscasts in Arbitron, but finishing behind them in A.C. Nielsen Co. figures. However, none of the newscasts won the time period. That honor belongs to KCOP Channel 13’s “A Different World” in Nielsen and KTLA Channel 5’s “Hunter” in Arbitron.
