Thanks for Listening

Recently, I was selected to serve on a Community Advisory Panel for the Los Angeles Times. Our task was to make suggestions to improve the Valley section of the paper. One item which the panel approved overwhelmingly was to see more positive, optimistic stories printed. In last Sunday’s issue (June 21), there was a story on the success of the Special Olympics, the start of the cleanup on Blythe Street in Panorama City, the beautiful story of the six youngsters who are making a difference in their communities, and news of a workshop designed to help former students file for refunds.
