“Batman Returns” screenwriter Daniel Waters is absolutely full of bat guano!

I had to laugh at his scenario--in which “every man has an inner urge to put on a cape and go out and save the world, while women secretly want to wreck it.” Since I assume Waters can only speak from experience on the former, I’ll ask him to refrain from hypothesizing on the latter.

If I was one of those raging feminists with no sense of humor, I would call his clumsy attempt at philosophy highly misogynistic. However, it merely proves that writing fantasy is truly his forte.
