Who’s Ruining Whom, Anyway?

I resent Buchanan’s statement that Hollywood is part of an “adversary culture . . . hostile to Judeo-Christian teaching.” The violence in “Batman Returns” is minuscule compared to the violence in the Bible, which features a mass drowning of Egyptian soldiers and a torture-execution of a prophet.

Perhaps movies and TV have inspired a few crimes, but that pales next to the millions of innocent people who have died in Bible-inspired holocausts, inquisitions, witch burnings, abortion clinic bombings etc., etc.
