Pedestrian Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver
A Van Nuys man was killed by a hit-and-run driver as he crossed a North Hills street early Saturday, Los Angeles police said.
Miguel Vazquez, 34, was pronounced dead about 1:15 a.m., just minutes after he was struck by a car at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Chase Street, Sgt. Ron Leanders said.
Vazquez was walking west across Sepulveda Boulevard when he was struck by a northbound car, Leanders said. Police did not release a description of the vehicle involved.
