Tracy Austin, the former No. 1 tennis player in the world and two-time U.S. Open champion, announced her engagement to an Orange County businessman. Austin, 29, and Scott Holt, 31, of Corona del Mar plan to marry here next spring, her brother and publicist, John Austin, said.
The couple met at a men’s tennis tournament in Los Angeles 2 1/2 years ago. Austin, who was the U.S. Open champion in 1979 and 1981, plans to release an autobiography later this summer.
