‘Celebration of Life’ Set for Nick Williams
An informal public “celebration of life” for Nick B. Williams, retired editor of The Times, is scheduled for 3 to 6 p.m. next Thursday in the Garden Room of the Center Club, 650 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa.
Williams, 85, who was editor of The Times for 13 years, died Wednesday in the South Coast Medical Center, South Laguna, of complications of lung disease. Burial will be private.
His wife and four children have asked that any memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of Orange County, 2540-A N. Santiago Blvd., Orange, CA 92667.
