Distinct Habit Wins at Belmont

NEW YORK —
Distinct Habit shook off Tourney entering the stretch and drew away for a 2 1/2-length victory Friday in the $114,500 Astoria Breeders’ Cup for 2-year-old fillies at Belmont Park.
Ridden by Jerry Bailey, Distinct Habit remained undefeated in two career starts. The winner covered 5 1/2 furlongs on the fast track in 1:04:2 to earn $68,730 for Triumviri Stable. He returned $9.60, $4.80 and $3.40.
