Redistricting Compromise
If I am not mistaken, the reason for the furor behind the forced redistricting of councilmatic, congressional and supervisorial districts is because the “minorities” have been screaming that they are not being fairly or equally represented.
But, if I read the statistics correctly, the Anglo is now the “minority” in Los Angeles and many would agree that they are now the ones whose rights are being denied and who are not fairly or equally represented.
Is there anyone out there who is willing to take on a legal challenge to bring back and preserve the rights of the new Anglo “minority”?
