Schools’ Gay Pride Month
Re: Times article “Schools’ Gay Pride Assailed” (June 23).
How desperately sad it is that young people like Chad Henry are being taught to feel threatened by something that is different.
Barbara Boudreaux appears nothing short of ridiculous and very paranoid when she declares that no one can convince her “that every one of 600,000 students is lesbian or gay.”
Recognition of a minority would only seem to demand understanding and compassion. Are the principles that Ms. Boudreaux, these parents and the Christian Coalition want their children to learn intolerance and hate? How sad. How very sad.
