WOODLAND HILLS : Authorities Identify Man Killed in Crash
A 25-year-old man who died on the Ventura Freeway in Woodland Hills when his car struck an embankment was identified Monday as Santos Monge.
Monge of downtown Los Angeles was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash at 4:20 p.m. Saturday on the eastbound lanes just west of Shoup Avenue, authorities said.
Monge was driving east about 75 m.p.h. when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle swerved out of control and hit the embankment, CHP Cpl. Scott MacGregor said.
