‘Legit’ Food Drive: Rap star Hammer is asking concert-goers to bring canned goods to his shows tonight and Saturday at the Forum in Los Angeles to fight hunger in the city. Hammer has already been a part of food drives that resulted in significant food donations to the Seedlings, a South-Central L.A. food pantry. The rappers’ Hunger Relief Concert in Louisville, Ky., on May 1 raised 506,000 pounds of food that were distributed to 52 cities across the United States. He plans to hold more food drives at concerts on his “Too Legit” tour later this summer.
