FULLERTON : Libraries Raise Fees for Rentals, Services

Share

Fees were increased at the city’s two libraries as of July 1.

Library officials hope the fee increases will help raise enough money to enable to the Hunt Branch Library to stay open on Fridays.

The Hunt Branch Library, at 201 S. Basque Ave., was closed on Fridays as part of cost-savings measures adopted by the City Council as it struggled to balance the fiscal 1992-93 city budget.

While the fine for overdue books will remain at 25 cents a day, ost other library charges will increase, said Albert Milo, library director.
