SUN VALLEY : 1-Year-Old Hurt in Fall From 2nd Floor

A 1-year-old boy sustained head injuries Friday after falling from a second-story window of an apartment in Sun Valley, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The child, Luis Hernandez, fell from a window at 7230 Ensign Ave. about 10:20 a.m., Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis said.
The boy was taken to Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles where he was listed in fair condition, nursing supervisor Gail Coffey said.
