A minister accused of child molestation in San Diego was convicted Friday in Illinois of molesting two boys.

The Rev. Lloyd Ray Davis, founder of the First Christian Fellowship Church of Waukegan, Ill., was found guilty of 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, five counts of criminal sexual assault and nine counts of child pornography.

Davis faces five felony counts of child molestation at a trial scheduled to begin Sept. 9 in San Diego. He allegedly sodomized and committed lewd acts on a 14-year-old boy in a Southeast San Diego house owned by the church and in a Chula Vista motel room.

The alleged victim in the San Diego case is one of the victims that Davis sexually molested in Illinois.

Davis was taken into custody after being convicted by Illinois Circuit Court Judge Christopher Starck, who heard testimony from both victims during a two-week trial.

Assistant State Atty. Jeff Pavletic said the victims were 14 and 16 years old when Davis molested them between July, 1988, and January, 1989.
