A man fled with an undetermined amount of money Tuesday after he threatened to shoot a bank teller during a robbery, police said.

The robbery occurred shortly after 5 p.m. at a Security Pacific National Bank at 16811 Algonquin St., Police Sgt. Mike Relic said.

No injuries were reported.

Relic said the robber told a teller to empty a cash drawer after threatening her. However, no weapon was displayed, Relic said.

The robber folded and placed the money in his pocket and walked out the west doors.

The robber was described as being in his late 20s or early 30s, weighing 160 pounds, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a mustache and short brown hair combed back, Relic said.

He was wearing black, plastic frame sunglasses, a black T-shirt with white shorts and white tennis shoes. He was described as “neat in appearance,” Relic said.
