Crimes Are Ignored

Ventura County Dist. Atty. Michael Bradbury announced that his office would not participate with the state of California in investigating and prosecuting workers’ compensation insurance fraud. Meanwhile, workers’ compensation insurance fraud is rampant, and the insurance rates imposed on business small and large are crushing the life out of us.

Bradbury should be recalled and thrown out for his outrageous behavior.

First, he asked the state for far more money than he knew he could get. Then he blames the state. Bottom line: no help for local business. We are all having our pockets picked by this insidious crime and yet Bradbury can ignore any law he thinks unimportant.

Business must follow all laws such as safety, sanitation, taxes and licensing. Being short of money does not excuse us from these laws. Bradbury should do the job he is overpaid to do or resign.
