On its first full day of deliberations Thursday, the jury in the murder trial of Robert Earl Mack reheard testimony from the defendant and three other witnesses.

The panel sent a note to Superior Court Judge Richard Murphy asking to hear Mack’s testimony “from the meeting room up to the point of arrest.”

This testimony focuses on Mack’s claim that he suffered a blackout and bizarre hallucinations after a grievance hearing at General Dynamics Convair Division.

Mack testified last week that he had the sensation of riding a big, black cat, when he was in fact gunning down two General Dynamics officials who he believed were responsible for the loss of his job. One man died and the other suffered permanent injuries.
