L.A. Times to Fax Financial News to Subscribers: The Los Angeles Times Syndicate said it will produce personalized business news and stock summaries that will be delivered to subscribers via facsimile machine. Financial Fax will be offered through the Los Angeles Times beginning Aug. 3 and, in September, through the San Francisco Chronicle. The Prudential Securities brokerage also will offer clients the service. Subscribers will receive a one-page report at the end of each business day, including up to 15 stocks, a digest of the latest business news and stock market activity summaries.
