Wolaner Joins Sunset Publishing: Robin Wolaner, president and founder of Parenting magazine, was named to the additional posts of president and chief executive of the Menlo Park-based sister company that publishes Sunset magazine and Sunset books. Both Sunset Publishing, which Wolaner is joining, and Parenting are part of Time Publishing Ventures, a unit of Time Inc. Sunset magazine says it has 5 million readers in 14 Western states. Sunset books, sold nationally, cover such subjects as food, gardening, travel and home improvement.
