Rehab for Vereen: Six weeks after he was hit by a vehicle as he walked along Pacific Coast Highway, entertainer Ben Vereen, 45, has been released from UCLA Medical Center and will undergo further rehabilitation at an undisclosed location on the East Coast. “Although his doctors feel he will make an excellent recovery, it is too early to determine when, or to what degree, he will be able to resume performing,” according to a statement released by his publicist. Vereen suffered head and internal injuries and a broken leg in the pre-dawn accident near his home in Malibu.
