President Bush and GOP Policies

Share

David Broder (“Bush’s Government Needs Fixing, Not His Campaign,” Commentary) is a bit wrong. It is Bush that needs fixing, but he is beyond repair.

If we reelect him to office after he gave us the S&L; crisis; led in gutting the economy by shipping our jobs and money overseas; expanded the budget deficit out of sight; spent on everything except U.S. people needs, while assisting in the packing of the Supreme Court with Neanderthal noodles, then we the people need fixin’ too.

But, how about his strong suit--foreign affairs? Yeah! Right! This is our resident expert who dissembles about Iran-Contra, builds up Iraq secretly so he can get us a war and assigns us to a “new world order” that he cannot explain and we never asked for.

We really need to worry whether there is going to be anything left to fix after George Global gets through with us--and the world.
