THE OTHER DYLAN: Plans are being made to celebrate Papa Dylan’s 30-year anniversary as a recording artist with with two all-star concerts in mid-October at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The idea is to bring Dylan together with musicians associated with and/or influenced by the icon.

Heading the long list of guests are presumably such names as Bruce Springsteen, U2, Neil Young, Joan Baez, Johnny Cash, Roger McGuinn and fellow Wilburys Tom Petty and George Harrison. A live album, a theatrical film or pay-per-view television special are being discussed.
