Pressing Business: Approaching its 45th anniversary, NBC News’ “Meet the Press” will expand its format to one hour beginning Sept. 30. Network executives said they have been encouraged by the recent performance of the long-running NBC Sunday morning show under Tim Russert, the NBC bureau chief in Washington. Russert has been moderating “Meet the Press” since December.
