Tenneco Reports Strong Results at All Units

Houston-based Tenneco Inc. reported a turnaround in second-quarter earnings from a year earlier, citing stronger results in each of its divisions.

The diversified energy company said it earned $178 million in the three months ended June 30, contrasted with a $14-million loss a year earlier.

Tenneco earned $1.23 a share, contrasted with a loss of 15 cents in the same period last year. Revenue was stable at $3.4 billion.
