HUNTINGTON BEACH : Two Men Arrested in Business Burglary

Two men who allegedly burglarized a spa equipment shop Tuesday morning were arrested a short while later after they were spotted in a second building on the same street, police said.

Larry Hensen, 20, of Garden Grove and Thomas R. Fisher, 44, of Huntington Beach were booked on suspicion of burglary, Lt. Luis Ochoa said.

Fisher also was booked on suspicion of grand theft and possession of a controlled substance because he was towing a trailer reported stolen from Anaheim in which officers found what they believe to be cocaine, Ochoa said.

A real estate agent preparing to show a vacant building to a prospective buyer at 18092 Redondo Circle saw two men in the building about 10:15 a.m. and asked the men what they were doing, Ochoa said. The men said they were contractors hired by the owner.

But when the owner of the building, Richard Marcz of Rolling Hills, showed up shortly thereafter, he called police and told them that he did not know the pair.

In the trailer, officers found several telephones, an air-conditioning unit, an air compressor, pool filters and a pump, which they believe were taken from the spa equipment business.

Hensen and Fisher were being held at Huntington Beach City Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail each, Ochoa said.
