Council OKs $11.8-Million Budget
The Palos Verdes Estates City Council this week approved a 1992-93 budget of $11.8 million that calls for $2.6 million in spending on capital projects and $9.3 million for day-to-day operations.
The council took the action Tuesday even though the city budget will likely have to be changed when the state, which has yet to produce a spending plan of its own, decides how much tax revenue it will earmark for cities.
“This is just a matter of course,” Mayor Rosemary Humphrey said. “We will come back and revisit this.”
