Carbon Dioxide Kills 2, Injures 1 on Navy Ship

NORFOLK, Va. —
Two sailors were killed and a third was injured when a fire-suppression system aboard a Navy ship flooded a compartment with carbon dioxide as they worked on the system, officials said. The accident occurred Thursday aboard the Sumter, a tank landing ship at the Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base.
