Mon Oncle (Bravo Monday at 8 p.m., Tuesday at 1 a.m.) The late Jacques Tati’s near-silent 1958 masterpiece in which his alter ego M. Hulot does battle, Buster Keaton style, with the gadgets that fill his sister’s ultra-modern home.
Manon of the Spring (KCET Saturday at 9 p.m.) In this second, concluding portion of Claude Berri’s unforgettable 1986 adaptation of the two-part Marcel Pagnol novel, Yves Montand’s greedy, mean-spirited peasant gets his comeuppance.
Cesar and Rosalie (KCET Saturday at 11 p.m.) This 1972 film is one of the veteran Claude Sautet’s best, a melancholic menage a trois starring Yves Montand, Romy Schneider and Sami Frey.
