WORLD IN BRIEF : HONG KONG : More Vietnamese to Be Repatriated

A fifth group of 60 Vietnamese boat people will be repatriated to Vietnam under the continuing orderly return program, a Hong Kong government spokesman said. Hong Kong started the controversial deportations of Vietnamese deemed not to be authentic political refugees under an agreement made between Britain and Vietnam. The latest deportation comes in the wake of an aborted flight under a voluntary repatriation program in which 14 returnees refused to board the plane.
