Countywide : Woman Dies, 2 Injured in Crash
A 19-year-old woman died after smashing into a tree on Interstate 805, authorities said.
Jeannette Lynn Cesena of Lemon Grove was killed instantly about 9 p.m. Monday in the accident south of the Landis Street overpass, said Chuck Bolton, a county medical examiner’s investigator.
Her daughter Analicia Tachiquin, 3, and a friend, Martin Esparza, 23, of Mission Hills, were injured.
Analicia was treated for minor injuries at Children’s Hospital and released to relatives Tuesday afternoon, a hospital spokesman said. Esparza suffered a dislocated collarbone and cuts to his face. He was being treated at Sharp Memorial Hospital.
