Deaths Apparent Murder-Suicide

An elderly couple were found shot to death in their eastern Ventura home early Saturday, the apparent victims of a murder-suicide, investigators said.
Miyeko Yeto, 74, apparently was shot in the head by her husband, Nobuo (Bill) Yeto, 81, who then shot himself, Ventura County Deputy Coroner Jim Wingate said.
The couple’s daughter discovered the bodies in a bedroom of their home in the 10600 block of Modoc Street in Saticoy, police said. A .32-caliber revolver with two rounds expended was found at the scene, police said. Autopsies will be conducted today.
Investigators said the couple were suffering from ill health.
