The same ponytailed man may have robbed two banks Monday afternoon, police in Anaheim and Garden Grove said.
In each case, a man walked into a Security Pacific branch office and presented a note demanding money, then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The first incident happened at 1:30 p.m. at 11460 Knott Ave. in Garden Grove, said Lt. John Woods.
The second robbery occurred about 20 minutes later at 1818 S. Euclid St. in Anaheim, said Sgt. Ed Pierson.
The robber is described as about 25 years old, 5-foot-6 and about 150 pounds, with a blond ponytail.
