Samuel L. Westover and Gerard N. Altieri...

Samuel L. Westover and Gerard N. Altieri have been elected to the board of directors of SysteMed Inc., a Laguna Hills administrator of managed care prescription drug benefit programs. Westover is chief financial officer and senior vice president of Blue Cross of California. Altieri is president of SysteMed’s newly acquired subsidiary, Insurx Inc. Altieri replaces Edward J. Quilligan, who recently resigned from the board, while Westover’s election expands the board to eight directors. In addition, Ronald J. Rieth, currently chairman of Insurx, has been appointed to the newly created position of executive vice president, marketing and sales for SysteMed.
