“Yanomami: Keepers of the Flame,” a documentary written and co-produced by Leslie Baer-Brown of Laguna Hills, will have its Orange County debut Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim. The screening will benefit the nonprofit Amazonia Foundation formed to bring medical care to the Yanomami, indigenous South Americans of the Amazon rain forest whose lives are threatened by disease brought by outsiders. Actor Michael Horse, who is in the film and who played Deputy Hawk in “Twin Peaks,” will speak before the screening, and South American music will be played. Tickets: $25, $15 for full-time students.
