Sculpture Unveiling: Sculptor Frederick Hart will unveil the final piece in his “Dreams: Visits and Visitations” collection at a reception Aug. 28 at Lahaina Galleries in Fashion Island Newport Beach.
The sculpture, “Heroic Spirit,” was commissioned by the U.S. Olympic Committee to be a model for the official Olympic monument for the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta.
Joining Hart at the reception will be former U.S. decathlon medalist Bill Toomey and other former Olympic athletes. Posters of basketball’s “Dream Team” will be selling for $30 apiece.
