Soon-Yi Previn Speaks: Soon-Yi Previn is finally talking about the storm surrounding her family. Previn has been seeing Woody Allen, 56, who for 12 years was the lover of her adoptive mother, Mia Farrow. But Previn, a college student in New Jersey, told Time magazine the actor-director was never a father figure to her. “To think Woody was in any way a father or stepfather to me is laughable,” she said. Previn says Farrow “is not who she pretends to be, certainly not as a mother.” She said she’s been avoiding her mother “because Mia can be and has been violent toward me.” Previn, who says she is 21, also said she resents suggestions that Allen may be exploiting her.
