President Bush’s Speech

Share

How sad that the President should attack the Simpsons for their family values. To me, the Simpsons represent the pinnacle of the American family: Homer and Marge love each other deeply, are on their first marriage, had three kids in wedlock, and are faithful. Lisa is bright and creative. Bart is a bit rebellious but I couldn’t imagine him doing drugs or joining a gang. Lisa and Bart get along like real brother and sister. And Maggie looks promising.

The only flaw in the Simpson family is that Homer isn’t a very good worker. In fact, his inattention to his vital job could be dangerous to society. In this way, he is very much like the President.
