On the Job: Meanwhile, KCBS will play matchmaker on a prime-time job-a-thon Sept. 4, attempting to pair job seekers with potential employers. Some 250 jobs available at 130 companies will be described during the 8-9 p.m. special, and volunteers will staff telephones during the telecast to take more job listings.
