Elton John’s hit album, “The One,” is getting boosts both from his tour and the single of the title song, which is No. 13 on the pop singles chart. “The One” climbed three rungs to No. 8. R&B; singer Mary J. Blige has one of the fastest-rising albums on the chart with “What’s the 411?” (No. 21). Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Some Gave All” tops the pop album chart for the 13th week, which may prove to be his unlucky number. Garth Brooks’ new Christmas album could knock him out of the No. 1 spot next week. “End of the Road,” the Boyz II Men single from the “Boomerang” soundtrack, still heads the pop singles chart. Also on that chart, Bobby Brown’s heralded single, “Humpin’ Around,” is No. 4.

*Tritt may spell trouble for the other country singers. Some are predicting that “T-R-O-U-B-L-E” may boost him into pop prominence. It’s off to a good start, entering the chart at No. 35.
