SMALL FACES: Finally there’s new music coming from industrial-rockers Nine Inch Nails. Advance cassettes of an EP, “Broken,” will make their way to the press next week, with official release planned for sometime in the fall. Rumor is an album can be expected sometime in 1993. . . .

L.A. blues-rockers the Red Devils have been in the studio with Mick Jagger, backing the lone Stone on tracks for his upcoming solo album. Rick Rubin is producing the album, as he did the Devils’ recent “Live at King King,” released on Rubin’s Def American label. . . .

The Sex Pistols’ notorious “Great Rock ‘n’ Roll Swindle” movie and soundtrack album will be making their first U.S appearance on videotape and CD, respectively, with Oct. 27 release dates scheduled for both. . . . The same day is set for a new album from rapper Monie Love. . . .

Randy Travis is joining Guns N’ Roses and Bruce Springsteen by releasing two simultaneous albums. The difference is Travis’ are greatest-hits collections. As extra enticements, each volume has two new singles. They’re due in stores Sept. 15. . . . Also coming is Morris Day’s “Sensational,” set for an Oct. 20 release.
