Bill Clinton’s Draft Status

Share

I am somewhat astonished and dismayed by your publishing irrelevant stories concerning Clinton’s draft status of 23 years ago. The lack of substantiation and holes in your story cast doubt upon your veracity. As a voter, father, professional and veteran, I can speak from personal experience when both my wife and I lost our jobs due to the recession and the incumbent President did nothing to help Americans in need. We could care less about the draft status of a politician 23 years ago, regardless if it were Quayle, Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney, or Rep. Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.), all of whom aggressively pursued deferments or used influence to join the National Guard. It comes down to jobs and the economy.

If you still don’t get it, just ask an out-of-work American. I think then you’ll get the picture.
